Liminal
Dance Composition Showcase 2019
"Liminal" was the work I created as part of the Dance Composition course here at Loyola. This piece was extremely personal to me, and I heavily collaborated with my dancers and their own personal experiences and stories to create this piece. "Liminal" explored the formation of one's identity through how larger society views you. Throughout my process, I referenced literature and works by people of color that resonated with me to create movement. This piece is something that I would like to revisit in the future and explore further.
